For business owners who travel frequently and spend $120K+, the Sapphire Reserve for Business delivers $6,000+ in annual value that more than offsets the $795 annual fee. The card is overkill for businesses with annual spending under $40K or those who don't value travel benefits.
The Chase Sapphire Reserve Business card is Chase’s first premium business card option. Its $795 annual fee is offset early by a 200,000-point bonus and $300 travel credit, but long-term value is dependent on usability of offered credits
The Chase Sapphire Reserve Business card is the first high end business card offered by Chase. The hefty $795 annual fee is one of the highest on the market (and is the same as the revamped Chase Sapphire Reserve personal card). That fee can easily be recouped in the first year with the 200,000 point signup bonus (that comes after spending $30,000 in the first six months) and $300 annual travel credit. Read more about the various coupon style of credits the card offers as benefits to see if the annual fee is worth it after the first year.
The card offers one of the **highest signup bonuses in the points and miles hobby at 200,000 points**, but with an equally high spending requirement ($30,000 over the first six months) to earn it. Outside of the 200,000 mile welcome offer, the biggest perk is the annual $300 travel credit that gets automatically applied to any travel purchase you make. This does not have to be in the Chase portal, so it will cancel out $300 worth of travel purchases made throughout the year. That credit brings the annual fee down to $495. There are plenty of other credits offered by the card to more than make up that amount, provided you use them organically.
Below are the credits the Chase Sapphire Reserve Business offers:
- $300 annual travel credit (applied to any travel purchase)
- $250 credit on prepaid bookings for use at select Chase Travel hotels on stays of at least two nights. **This credit is only good after January 1, 2026 and for use in 2026**. This was announced as a special and doesn't appear to be an ongoing credit as of now.
- Two $50 credits per year (one in January - June and one in July - December) on gift cards purchased on giftcards.com/reservebusiness
- $200 in annual statement credits on purchases made directly on Google Workspace
- Two $200 credits per year (one in January - June and one in July - December) on ZipRecruiter
- Two $250 credits per year for prepaid bookings with The Edit (a two night minimum stay is required each time to receive the twice per year credit). These credits can be used any time throughout the year, and you have to have two separate bookings to receive the $250 credit both times (it won't work on a single, 4 night booking)
- You can you book two, 2-night stays back to back at the same hotel, and you will receive both $250 credits in this scenario. If you book the exact same room type, you should not have to check out then back in on the third day
- There are also extra benefits that come with The Edit bookings: Free breakfast (at select properties), $100 property credit, room upgrade (if available), and early check-in/late check-out (if available)
- The extra Edit benefits are not available on the second two nights of back to back bookings in the same hotel (though the $250 credits are, provided you made two separate bookings)
- Complimentary DashPass Membership (worth $120 annually), two $10 monthly credits on non-restaurant orders, and one $5 monthly credit on restaurant orders
- One $10 credit on Lyft rides per month
- $120 credit every 4 years for Global Entry/TSA PreCheck
Below are additional benefits, perks, and spending multipliers:
- Priority Pass Select Membership: This is good for the cardholder and two guests
- Access to any Chase Sapphire Lounge by the Club for the cardholder and two guests
- A variety of purchase and travel protections, including auto rental coverage, roadside assistance, trip cancellation/interruption insurance, among others
- 8x points on travel booked through the Chase portal, 5x on Lyft rides, 4x on flights and hotels, 3x on social media and search engine advertising, and 1x everywhere else
If you spend more than $120,000 on the card in a calendar year, you access the following benefits:
- IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite Status
- $500 credit for The Shops at Chase
- $500 Southwest Airlines Chase Travel credit
- Southwest Airlines A-List status
- The coupon book style of credits is too much work
- The type of credits don’t fit with your small business spending and won’t make up for the high annual fee
- You already some of the perks like Global Entry and Priority Pass from other credit card benefits
**Chase Ultimate Rewards is our most valued point system.**
- These points are the most flexible of any credit card points. You can transfer points to their partners (the most valuable way to redeem)
- Or you can book travel directly through the Chase portal, including cruise, car rental, or specialty hotels.
- The quality of their transfer partners (Hyatt, United & Southwest) is unmatched. As is the value you can get when you transfer.
- You can get a “multiplier effect” on your Chase Ultimate Rewards points when you have either of Chase’s Sapphire cards by taking advantage of Points Boost.
- We view Ultimate Rewards as the points “savings account” to top off a partner reward system for a flight or hotel. Or to book travel items directly through the Chase travel portal.

Cash back redemptions return only 1 cent per point. Booking travel through the Chase Travel Portal can be worth up to 2 cents per point with the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Points Boost redemptions. Transferring points to airline or hotel partners can deliver even higher value, up to 7-10 cents per point.
The most efficient way to redeem Chase points is to transfer them to travel partners. Transfers deliver outsized value, often well more than 2 cents per point. Booking through the Chase Travel Portal is easier, but learning partner awards maximizes long-term value and flexibility.
The two Chase Sapphire Reserve cards, personal and business, offer the biggest signup bonuses and most perks, but they also carry higher annual fees. The Chase Sapphire Preferred is an excellent alternative for travelers who want strong value and transferable points with a lower fee.
You cannot book Airbnb through Chase Travel, as Airbnb is not a direct transfer partner. Chase does offer vacation rentals in its portal for select cardholders. Log in to Chase Travel, and if your card is eligible you will see options to search hotels or vacation homes.
American Express provides access to more lounges than Chase through the Global Lounge Collection, which includes Centurion Lounges, Delta Sky Clubs, and other partner lounges. The premium cards from both reward systems offer access to the most lounges.

The new Chase Sapphire Reserve Business card is the first high end business card offered by Chase. It is comparable to the American Express Platinum Business card and the Capital One Venture X Business card if you're looking for a business card with a lot of benefits and perks.
The regular public signup bonus offer for the American Express Platinum Business card is 100,000 points for $15,000 in purchases, but with the refresh in fall 2025, the welcome offer was increased to 200,000 (along with a new $895 annual fee). It has since been decreased to 175,000, which is still great. This card also has the coupon style of benefits, with a lot of new ones after the refresh:
- $600 in statement credits (two $300 credits, twice per year) on prepaid Fine Hotels and Resorts and The Hotel Collection bookings (The Hotel Collection bookings require a 2 night minimum stay)
- $150 in Dell credits (+$1000 back if you spend $5000 in a calendar year)
- $250 Adobe credit (after spending $600)
- Four quarterly $50 credits for eligible purchases made with Hilton
- Four quarterly $90 credits with Indeed
- $10 monthly wireless credits
- $200 airline fee credit (select one qualifying airline and receive $200 in annual credits for incidentals)
- $209 Clear Plus credit annually
The regular public signup bonus for the Capital One Venture X Business card is 150,000 miles after $30,000 in purchase over the first three months. It also offers 2x miles on every purchase, an annual $300 travel credit on bookings through Capital One Travel. It has a few other notable benefits and an annual fee of $395.
There are a variety of other Chase business cards offered. None come with anywhere near the same host of benefits the Chase Sapphire Reserve Business card does, but none have anywhere near the same high fee either. The Chase Ink Business Cash and Chase Ink Business Unlimited have no annual fees and each have regular signup bonuses of 75,000 points (on much smaller spends). The Chase Ink Business Preferred has a $95 annual fee and 90,000 points as a welcome offer (after spending $8000 on the card).

The Chase Ink Business Cash and Chase Ink Business Unlimited have no annual fees and each have regular signup bonuses of 75,000 points (on much smaller spends).
